4. Parvana has to change her gender in order to support her family. She is hesitant at first, but then accepts that she must do this. How would you feel in her position?

1. Parvana is unsure to enter the shop because she a girl but she is not a woman but if she went she is a afraid that she is a female so she might get beaten so she goes in to the store.

2. Mrs. Weera give the family confidence and organizes there acts. She helps Parvana's mom to have her get up and take care of the family.

3. Parvana is upset because after she cuts her hair she will have to do all the work. Also Parvana isn't really happy about having herself look like a boy because she wants to be happy about her gender.

4. If I was in Parvana I would feel happy because everybody is depending on you and you get to go outside to do work. It's not so bad it seems like Parvana doesn't have a choice if parvana doesn't work the family won't live.
